Welcome to FLC Continuing Education

“The future is something which everyone reaches at the rate
of 60-minutes an hour, whatever he does, whoever he is.” C. S. Lewis

As you travel through our community at 60-minutes an hour, be sure to look for the unusual and unique classes being offered through CE. Just like 2012, our program promises to be interesting and potentially life-changing.

As always, we have have plenty of great classes for you to look forward to - both brand new, first time offerings and "encores" when our Fall Term kicks off this August with Introduction to Mushroom Identification*, taught by our favorite "fungiphile" Dean Mullen.

Be sure to watch for our Fall 2012 Catalog of Courses which will debut in the August 24 edition of The Durango Herald. Until then, pop on our web site occassionally to browse our list of upcoming classes -- it is being re-populated with new classes as dates are established.

The summer is a great time to try one of our fabulous online courses -- not only are they affordable, they are so convenient: you can access your classroom anytime, anywhere. If you're taking a "stay-cation" or sticking close to home this summer, look into this local, on-going communication workshop: Listening and Speaking with Presence!

* Introduction to Mushroom Identification begins August 15, with an early registration deadline of August 8. Don't delay, register NOW - this class usually sells out way in advance!

We look forward to serving you during the second half of what has already been a great year!

Liz James, Office Manager
